JAY — The following are the events happening at Spruce Mountain High School for the week of Oct. 20-26.

College visits

Representative from the following colleges will be at SMHS on the following dates to meet with interested seniors:

Monday, Oct. 20, UMA, Thomas College and Johnson & Wales

Tuesday, Oct. 21, SMCC, UM at Fort Kent and UM at Machias

Wednesday, Oct. 22, Maine Maritime

Thursday, Oct. 23, Kennebec Valley Community College

Senior interviews

All seniors will meet with the guidance counselors for senior interviews. Anyone who hasn’t signed up for an appointment is encouraged to stop by the guidance office and make an appointment.

Project Graduation meeting

Another Project Graduation planning meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, in the SMHS library. All parents of senior students are encouraged to attend.

Flu clinic

Students and staff who have turned in a consent form will have flu vaccines on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the high school.

Athletics

Monday, Oct. 20: JV football at Lake Region, 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 21: JV/V girls soccer at home vs. Maranacook, 5JV/6:30V; JV/V boys soccer at Maranacook, 4JV/6V; V field hockey quarterfinals, TBA.

Friday, Oct. 24, Varsity football at Leavitt, 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 25, Cross-country regionals at Twin-Brook in Cumberland.
