LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a panel discussion titled Energy Savings: There are Options, on Thursday, Oct. 23.
The program will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St. The cost is $15.
Participants include Rick Meinking, business program manager at Efficiency Maine; Suzanne Bussiere, lead analysis key accounts for Central Maine Power; Maureen Callahan, energy adviser for USource Energy; Lawrence O’Rourke, principal at Optimal Energy Group, LLC; Emile Clavet, co-owner of Electricity Maine; and Alan Hahnel, president of Hahnel Bros. Co.
Some of Maine’s prominent energy market organizations have teamed up to explain the volatility of the New England market, forces affecting pricing, and the steps businesses can take to ensure long-term budget stability.
