AUBURN — Timothy and Karen Simpson of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Simpson of Auburn, to Brandon Serle of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., son of William Serle III and Gail Serle of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

Miss Simpson is a current student athlete at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor’s degree in both business administration and management and marketing and with a minor in psychology. She will be graduating in May 2015. Currently, Miss Simpson is an administrative assistant at ERAU’s Campus Safety and Security, and a Division 2 NAIA collegiate cheerleader.

Mr. Serle is also a current student athlete at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and with a minor in business administration. He will also be graduating in May 2015. Currently, Mr. Serle is a design engineering intern at Germfree Laboratories, and a small forward Division 2 NAIA collegiate basketball player.

The wedding will be held in 2015 in Orlando, Fla.
