Kelsey St. Cyr made six saves to notch the shutout, the team’s fifth consecutive victory, while Lauren Wadleigh turned aside six shots between the posts for Lawrence.

Lisbon 4, Winthrop 0

LISBON — Deliah Schreiber recorded a hat trick Tuesday as Lisbon overpowered Winthrop 4-0 in an MVC girls’ soccer matchup.

Schreiber scored twice in the first frame, while Catherine George also tallied for the Greyhounds (6-1-2) in the second frame.

Ali Sult needed only two saves to notch the shutout, while Shie Smith turned aside 11 shots for the Ramblers (1-7).

Mt. Abram 3, Wiscasset 1

SALEM — Lindsay Huff scored her second goal of the contest with 39:37 left in regulation to give Mt. Abram a 3-1 victory over Wiscasset.

Katie Jordan gave the Roadrunners a 1-0 lead with 6:27 left in the first half off a cross from the left side of the goal. Huff tallied her first goal three minutes later on a give-and-go combination.

Miranda McIntire scored the Wolverines’ lone goal early in the second frame. Abby Brackley made six saves for Mt. Abram, while Kayla Gordon deflected seven shots for Wiscasset.

Mt. Ararat 3, Oxford Hills 1

PARIS — Nikki Bradstreet led a trio of players to register goals Tuesday as Mt. Ararat hustled to a 3-1 victory over Oxford Hills.

Christine Levesque and Libby Ouellette also tallied for the Eagles to complete the scoring.

Mikayla Morin converted a pass from McKayla Marois to give the Vikings a goal in the second frame. Lauren Williams made eight saves for Mt. Ararat, while Sam Bickford turned back 13 shots for Oxford Hills.

Gray-New Gloucester 3, Fryeburg 2

FRYEBURG — Emma Woods headed the ball into the net with just three seconds left in regulation to give Gray-New Gloucester a 3-2 victory over Fryeburg in a WMC girls’ soccer matchup Tuesday.

Woods led the Patriots (4-4-0) with two goals, while Maria Valente also tallied. Esmerelda Hernandez scored both goals for Fryeburg (2-4-2) in a solid effort.

Spruce Mountain 1, Leavitt 1 (2OT)

TURNER — Alana Cole scored with just under four minutes remaining in regulation to allow Spruce Mountain to escape with a 1-1 deadlock against Leavitt in more KVAC girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

Emmalee Duguay gave the Hornets a 1-0 advantage in the first frame. Emily Keene made 13 saves for the Phoenix, while Angela Daigle turned aside five shots for Leavitt.

Carrabec 1, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Paige Chadbourne found the net with just 55 seconds left in regulation to give Dirigo a 1-0 victory over Carrabec in more mid-season MVC soccer action Tuesday.

Kelsey Creamer and Stephanie Cossaboom combined to record 15 saves for the Cobras, while Mariah LaFleur turned aside 10 shots for Dirigo. Dirigo outshot its opponent 16-11, but failed to find the back of the net.

Poland 0, Waynflete 0 (2OT)

POLAND — Poland and Waynflete battled to a 0-0, double-overtime tie in WMC girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

The two squads failed to capitalize in a back-and-forth matchup.

Goalie Juliana Harwood made six saves for the Flyers (4-1-2), while goalie Haley Whitworth repelled 13 for the Knights (1-5-2).

Skowhegan 3, Edward Little 0

AUBURN — Renee Wright scored the opening goal as Skowhegan claimed a 3-0 victory over Edward Little in KVAC field hockey action Tuesday.

The Red Eddies (4-5-1) struggled offensively, but demonstrated a solid defensive effort. Goalie Danica Nadeau made 39 saves for Edward Little.

The Indians (9-1) outshot Edward Little by a margin of 44-3, and had a 25-2 surplus in corners.

Oxford Hills 1, Cony 0

PARIS — Amber Jenkins fired a shot into the net with 19:11 left in the first half to give Oxford Hills a 1-0 win over Cony in a KVAC field hockey tilt Tuesday.

Shannon Fillebrown made a dozen saves for the Vikings (6-4) to preserve the shutout. Madeline Lewis turned aside seven shots between the posts for Cony.

Lewiston 7, Lawrence 1

FAIRFIELD — Junior forward Abdi Shariff scored a pair of goals to lead Lewiston to a 7-1 victory over Lawrence in KVAC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (8-0) lead 5-0 at the half as Shariff contributed two goals in the first five minutes of the contest.

Maulid Abdow and Hassan Mohamed added a goal and an assist each for Lewiston.

Zoli Nagy spoiled the shutout with a direct free kick that found its way into the back of the cage from 35 yards out for the Bulldogs (1-6-1).

Edward Little 7, Mt. Blue 1

FARMINGTON — Maslah Hassan netted five goals to power Edward Little to a 7-1 victory over Mt. Blue in KVAC boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

The Red Eddies (5-2-1) led 5-1 at the half. Luke Sterling and Jacob Kyajohnian rounded out the scoring for Edward Little.

Drew Parsons scored the lone goal for the Cougars (2-5-1).

Leavitt 8, Spruce Mountain 0

JAY — Tyler Roux recorded a hat trick Tuesday as Leavitt raced away to an 8-0 win over Spruce Mountain in a KVAC boys’ soccer matchup.

Evan Clark chipped in for the Hornets with two goals, while Madison Noel and Ian Godfrey also tallied.

Ben Fullerton made six saves to notch the shutout, while Nick Guild turned back 13 shots between the posts for Spruce Mountain.
