Creation of a fish pond at 285 Titcomb Hill Road in Farmington began Monday. Clayton and Joyce King, owners of CJ’s Appliances, are starting a family recreation and picnic area with a 340- by 100-foot fishing pond on 7 acres located across from the store. Workers, along with Bob Thorndike of Strong, began digging on Monday. The pond will be spring fed and will be open for fishing by Memorial Day in May, King said.
