Come be amazed and inspired by Leland Faulkner, master of the lost art of shadowgraphs, also known as hand shadows. Faulkner is able to conjure up an amazing variety of silhouettes using only shadows. He displays classic Japanese magic as paper butterflies and birds fill the room in a beautiful homage to Old Japan.

The stories and magic that appear in this family-oriented program have been influenced by Faulkner’s well-travelled past. He was born in Afghanistan to Native American parents and has spent time in Tanzania, Italy, and Japan. Each of these locations adds their own flavor to his performance, leaving the audience inspired by the visual presentation.

Faulkner combines shadow theater, mime, illusions and classic folk tales with an imaginative twist. He has captivated audiences around the globe from Washington D.C to Shinigawa, Japan.
