As a U.S. Army veteran, a retired state of Maine game warden for 34 years and now serving nearly six years on the Board of Selectmen in the town of New Gloucester, I have seen many changes in this country, this state, and in municipal government.

I believe Eric Brakey is just the right person to serve my community and the state of Maine with a concern for fiscal responsibility in state government, which is drastically needed.

Brakey is an honest person, willing to listen to all people regardless of their party affiliation.

I will be voting for Eric Brakey for the Maine Senate on Nov. 4.
