This year, voters in Lewiston need to be aware and send the best people to Augusta to help with taxation, health costs and business costs. I want an experienced person to be my next senator, and Nate Libby is my choice.

He has served on the Taxation Committee that helped people retain more of their income. He supported the $40 million in promised revenue sharing funds that local communities (such as Lewiston) use to support vital services without property tax hikes. He also pushed for increased property tax fairness credit for seniors and low- or middle-income people.

I formerly served on the Lewiston City Council and as a state representative, so I know it is tough work. Now, Nate Libby has done the same.

He is the best person for the Senate seat for Lewiston.
