Coach: Dick Mynahan (27th year)
Conference: West Class: D
Last year: 7-3, lost in regional semifinals
Returning players: Seniors — Kyle Bourget (QB/DB), Joe Philbrick (FB/LB), Robert Wood (OL/DL), Darren Ward (OL/DL), Andrew Golino (TE/DE), Adam Desjardins (C), Sean Ball (FB/G/LB), Josh Collier (NG), R.J. Sargent (WR); Sophomores — Tyler Halls (WR/DB), Tanton Mattson (OL/LB/DT).
Key losses: Quincy Thompson (RB/DB), Jordon Torres (RB/DB), Brett Gravel (T/DT), Dale Crafts (G/DE), Jordan Glover (WR/DE).
Promising newcomer: Senior — Colin Higgins (FB/DT).
Season outlook: Lisbon has its deepest senior class in years. Due to eligibility issues and almost a complete lack of juniors, however, the Greyhounds are thin overall and cannot afford any serious injuries. Bourget is a third-year starter at quarterback, and the bruising Philbrick runs behind a solid, experienced line. Halls is extremely fast and may see time at other skill positions during the season. The Greyhounds should contend for the Campbell Conference title if there are no major speed bumps.
