Season outlook: County’s final season with the Blue Devils is a promising one. Lewiston is loaded with speed and is tough and experienced up front, as well. The big news, other than the coach’s impending retirement, is Brown’s move from tailback to quarterback. Brown gives the Devils an extremely dangerous double threat at the position. Thanks to Colby’s presence as a runner and blocker, though, don’t expect the Devils to complete abandon traditional formations. As for the defense, few running backs or receivers will outrun Lewiston’s secondary. Cheverus, Windham and Bangor make for a brutal division schedule, but the Devils believe they can compete with the best.
