Season outlook: It’s an intriguing roster for Hebron, which welcomes players from Boston, Harlem and Queens in New York City, California, Mexico and two Canadian provinces. Telfer, of North Bridgton, is the local presence. Bernier, who has been the lacrosse coach, becomes the third different leader of the football program in as many seasons. He expects the team to be competitive every week and hopes that the influx of new talent will produce a push for the playoffs. Defense will be an area for needed improvement. Hebron scored more than 20 points on five occasions a year ago but lost three of those games.
