Season outlook: The Red Eddies knew they would have speed with Martin and Blanchard. Thanks to tireless work in the offseason, they’ve also added size, with Hummes, Gillespie and Bradley among the players putting on anywhere from 25 to 50 pounds of muscle in the weight room. Verrill took over at quarterback when Mileikis was injured early in the playoff loss at Windham and has thrown the ball well through the summer. EL also has bolstered the coaching staff, with Sterling bringing his predecessor, Darren Hartley, on board as offensive coordinator.
