PARIS — A  Center Conway, N.H., man accused of raping a woman last summer in Fryeburg is scheduled to appear in court this week.

Raymond Robblee, 49, was arrested in Conway on Sept. 5, 2013, on a charge of gross sexual assault and another sex charge.

Gross sexual assault is punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $50,000 fine; the second charge is punishable by up to 364 days in prison and a $2,000 fine.

Robblee pleaded not guilty at his initial arraignment in 11th District Court in Paris on Sept. 9, 2013, according to records at the Oxford County Jail in Paris. He posted $75,000 surety bail and was released later that day.

According to an arrest affidavit signed by Fryeburg police officer Michelle Legare, the charge stems from an attack on a sleeping woman in Fryeburg in late July 2013. Robblee was contacted at his auto repair shop in Conway, N.H., on Aug. 20, 2013, by Fryeburg police and arrested 16 days later.

He is to appear at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in a Paris court when activity on pending cases will be scheduled.
