John Moran Jr.

POLAND — Jim and Kelly Beal of Lisbon Falls are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Hanna Beal of Poland, to John Thomas Moran Jr. of Poland, son of Linda Bauer of Diamondhead, Miss., and John and Sue Moran Sr. of Stowe.

Miss Beal is a 2010 graduate of Southern Maine Community College with a degree in fire science. She has been working for Cumberland County as a 9-1-1- dispatcher for the past four years.

Mr. Moran received a bachelor’s degree in computer forensics and digital investigation from Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in information security from Dakota State University. He is employed with the Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit as a computer forensic analyst and is also a part-time deputy for Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office and an officer on the Frye Island Police Department.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the South Lewiston Baptist Church.
