The Board of Selectmen recently accepted a donation from Dr. Donald Ware of Dunn Road to complete the picket fence at Chapel Cemetery, also located on Dunn Road. The cemetery, which dates back to the 19th century, is lacking a part of the white picket fence that surrounds the back three sides of the lot. Town Manager David Holt said Ware will hire and pay for a contractor to complete the fence that has deteriorated over time. The cemetery has about 100 stones, including some of the notable names in Norway’s history, such as French, Pingree and Dunn.
