AUBURN — The city is accepting applications for vacancies on various boards and committees. The deadline to submit applications to the city clerk is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25.

Applications are available in the City Clerk’s Office or by visiting
www.auburnmaine.gov/Pages/Government/Current-Vacancies.

The vacancies are:

* Board of Assessment Review; three vacancies, alternate positions with term expirations of Oct. 1, 2015, Oct. 1, 2016, and Oct. 1, 2017

* Cable TV Advisory Board; one vacancy with a term expiration of Jan. 1, 2016

* Community Development Block Grant Loan Committee; one vacancy with a term expiration of Oct. 1, 2017

* Ethics Committee; one vacancy with a term expiration of Oct. 1, 2017

* Housing Authority; one vacancy with a term expiration of Oct. 1, 2019

* Zoning Board of Appeals; three vacancies for two full members and one associate member, all with term expirations of Oct. 1, 2017
