This style of music usually has a fast tempo dominated by the button or piano accordion and a form of a washboard known as a “rub-board.” The Squeeze Box Stompers play the accordion, keyboards, lap steel, fiddle, mandolin, saxophone, harmonica, guitar, bass and drums.

Dancing in the aisles will be strongly encouraged. After all, zydeco music was originally created at house dances, where families and friends gathered for socializing. Tickets are $12 in advance; $15 at the door.

Tickets are available online at www.chocolatechurcharts.org or by calling 207-442-8455.
