FARMINGTON — Police said an Arizona man wanted on a parole violation was arrested at a home on Farmington Falls Road on Monday, accused of being a fugitive from justice.

Michael Anderson, 38, was taken into custody at about 1 p.m. after police received an anonymous tip and got a search warrant for the house, Farmington officer Bridgette Gilbert said. He was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center.

Anderson’s parole violation stems from a burglary. An extradition warrant was issued May 22 in Arizona, Gilbert said.

Farmington Detective Marc Bowering, officer Ryan Rosie and Wilton police Sgt. Chad Abbott assisted Gilbert with the arrest.
