A tree came down on Front Street in Farmington early Thursday morning in the storm and took the power line for a street light with it, Farmington fire rescue Chief Terry Bell said Thursday. Firefighters cordoned off the area with yellow caution tape. They also put traffic cones out to close a portion of the street until about 2:30 p.m. when Central Maine Power Co. workers arrived to fix the problem.
