LEWISTON — Michael and Carol Fortier of Lisbon are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Jean Fortier of Lewiston, to Jeffrey Michael Purcell of Lewiston, son of Louise and Dave Cote of Minot and Skip Purcell of New Gloucester.

Miss Fortier is a 2001 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and has been employed at Quality Glass in Lewiston for four years and is office manager.

Mr. Purcell is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and has been employed at Enefco in Auburn for 10 years and is account manager.

The wedding will be held on Sept. 6 in the back yard at the home of the couple.
