MINOT — “Yummy and Mitchell’s low-down and dirty” Blues Festival will take place Friday through Sunday, Aug. 22-24, at Hemond’s Farm, 695 Woodman Hill Road, Route 119.

Bands will include Dave Mello Blues Band, The Blues Prophets, Blue Steel Express, Eric Green Party, Tommy O’Connell and the Juke Joint Devils, Bonnie Edwards and the Practical Cats, Black Cat Road Blues Band, Jimmy Joe and the Jumbol’Ayahs Cajun Blues Band and Trailer Trash Blues Band.

Gates open at noon on Friday. Advance tickets are $40 for the weekend and are available through Facebook at www.facebook.com/lowdownbluesfest. Tickets at the door will be $25 per day and $50 for the weekend. Proceeds will benefit Safe Voices and the Sexual Assault Crisis Center.
