Lovable curmudgeon Norman Thayer is as tart tongued as ever. His spirited wife, Ethel, delights in all the small things that have enriched their lives. Together, they are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for their 48th year, and are soon visited by their estranged daughter Chelsea, her uptight fiance and his rebellious teenage son. “On Golden Pond” is a heartwarming and humorous story about revisiting the past and forging new bonds across generations. This modern classic remains an aspiring celebration of the universal challenges we all face, and the ultimate triumphs of love, life and family.
Paper Moon Players has cast Jim Robertson as Norman and Gail Parent as Ethel. Kristen Leclerc Guay will portray Chelsea. “On Golden Pond” will be produced by Cindy and Scot Grassette and directed by Keith A. Grassette, assisted by Hope Fallon.
