NORWAY — Oxford Hills Music and Performing Arts Association has announced the dates of its summer production “See How They Run” which will open at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Norway Grange Theater, Whitman St.
“See How They Run” is a typical English farce, replete with mistaken identities, slamming doors, pithy lines and all-around confusion. Galloping in and out of four doors of an English vicarage are an American actor and actress, a cockney maid who has seen too many American movies, an old maid who “touches alcohol for the first time in her life,” four men in clerical garb presenting the problem of who is who, for disguised as one cleric is an escaped Russian prisoner, and a sedate Bishop aghast at all these goings on and all the trumped-up stories they tell him.
Performing in “See How They Run” are Maria Commoss, Cindy Reedy, Kristen Short, Andy Turner, Bill Miller, Brett Parsons, Mike Porter and Ty Wyman, under the direction of Kenn Sawyer.
Other show dates include August 15-17, and 21-24. Evening shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Books ‘n’ Things, Main St., and unsold tickets will be available at the door. Ticket prices are $10 adults; $8 senior citizens and those under 18. Opening night tickets are $5 for all seats.
