World-renowned winemaker Joseph Carr, right, was in Lewiston last month for the sixth annual wine dinner at Fuel to benefit The American Heart Association. Attendees raised $9,200 for the AHA, as part of the Central Maine Heartwalk. Carr’s father passed away suddenly of a heart attack when he was 59. Money raised came from a portion of the ticket prices, private donations and a silent auction. The event is planned by Eric Agren of Fuel, left, Cindie Rice, second from left, of Central Maine Medical Center and Adam Dunbar, second from right, of Wells Fargo Advisors. This year’s Central Maine Heartwalk will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Sunday, Sept. 14.
