1972 – 2014

TURNER — Jeanie S. Hallowell, 41, of Greene, died Monday, July 21, at her mom’s home in Turner, where she had resided for the past two years.

She was born in Lewiston on July 28, 1972, the daughter of Michael L. Hallowell and Karen L. Chateauvert Flagg. Jeanie received her GED from Leavitt High School in Turner, and also took assorted classes at Mid State College and the University of Southern Maine in Augusta. She was an accountant at Auburn Savings Bank for 13 years.

Jeanie enjoyed spending time with her nieces, Denielle Cote, Savannah Hallowell, Abbygayl, Paige and Kayleeann Stevens and Cassidy and Brittany Cunningham, along with her favorite nephew, Caleb Stevens, and great-nieces, Gabryelle and Alexys Kunze. She was a member of Arok Temple No. 94 Daughters of the Nile and the Androscoggin Grange No. 8.

Jeanie is survived by her mom, Karen Flagg and her husband, Michael; her dad, Michael L. Hallowell and his wife, Alice; her son, Brandon Michael, of Greene; her two daughters, Pamela Jean and Kaitlyn Elizabeth of Greene; a brother, Daniel Stevens and his wife, Holly, of Wales; a sister, Jodie L. Hallowell, of Monmouth; and maternal grandparents, Richard Chateauvert and Georgianna Baril and her husband, Larry.

She was predeceased by her favorite aunt, Pamela J. Chateauvert Barker; and paternal grandparents, Wallace and Helen Hallowell.

Jeanie will be deeply missed by her mother, as she was her “favorite” middle child, her dad’s beautiful brown-eyed girl and all of her family. Thanks to the Goldrup family for their help and support.
