FARMINGTON — Two New Sharon residents found unresponsive at a Farmington Falls Road residence April 8 were indicted on heroin charges Tuesday.

Children at the home called a family member and police to get help.

A Franklin County grand jury indicted Tabatha Schoubroek, 29, and Daniel Villacci, 29, each on a felony charge of possession of heroin.

The two were initially charged by Maine State Police following a suspected drug overdose, Sgt. Mathew Casavant said in April.

One adult was taken by ambulance to a Farmington hospital and was treated and released, police previously said.

It was suspected at the time that the recreational drug being used was heroin, Casavant previously said. State police were working to confirm the cause of the overdose as well as the source of the illegal drugs, he had said.
