MOSCOW — Corinna’s town manager died Sunday afternoon in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Moscow.
Kimberly Anne Godsoe, 38, of Hartland had been riding on a trail near Deadwater Road when the crash occurred at about 12:30 p.m.
Before becoming Corinna’s town manager in 2011, Godsoe served as the St. Albans town manager’s administrative assistant and worked at the Hartland town office.
Selectmen held an emergency meeting at 4 p.m. Monday to discuss how to proceed until a successor is hired. During the meeting, they appointed Albert Tempesta, the town’s code enforcement officer, interim town manager.
Godsoe leaves behind a husband and three children, according to the town’s website.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hartland Consolidated School. Arrangements are being handled by Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home of Pittsfield.
