MECHANIC FALLS — Philip and Elisabeth Poling of Readfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Elisabeth Anne Poling of Durham, N.H., to Michael Robert Maberry of Lynchburg, Va., son of Michael and Tracey Maberry of Mechanic Falls.

Miss Poling received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maine and a master’s degree in student development in higher education from the University of Maine. She is currently residence hall director at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H.

Mr. Maberry received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Maine and a master’s degree in student development in higher education from the University of Maine. He is area coordinator at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Va.

The wedding will be held on May 23, 2015 at the Popham Chapel in Phippsburg.
