DIXFIELD — David and Linda Law of Dixfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Law, to Jason Bean, son of Elden and Pamela Bean of Vienna.

Miss Law is a graduate of Dirigo High School, class of 2004, and is also a graduate of the University of New England with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is employed at Maine Medical Partners MaineHealth Cardiology in Scarborough.

Mr. Bean is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School, class of 1998, and attended Eastern Maine Community College. He is employed with Douston Construction in Arundel.

The couple is planning a Sept. 20 wedding at the Kawanhee Inn in Weld.
