BANGOR — A New York City man convicted for his role supplying a drug distribution ring in Maine has been sentenced to more than eight years in federal prison.
Prosecutors say 46-year-old Kenneth “Kill” Robinson was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Bangor to eight years, four months behind bars and three years of probation upon release.
He pleaded guilty last year to charges including conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute oxycodone and cocaine.
Authorities say between May 2009 and May 2012, Robinson supplied oxycodone for distribution throughout central Maine by Maurice McCray and a network of other dealers.
The drug ring was dismantled after a three-month investigation and 16 people were charged. McCray has also pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing.
