NORWAY — The Teen Services department of Norway Memorial Library invites people entering grades 7-12 to hang out on Wednesday nights at the library from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Young adults have been asking for the Teen Room to be open on Wednesday nights. The library heard and will offer summer Wednesday Nights for Teens. Enjoy snacks, beverages, music, crafts and games with friends. Be sure to fill out a ticket for the big prize drawing at the end of the summer.
July 2 will be Mad Scientist Night: Wildly crazy stuff and the Big Bang; July 9, Sci-Fi Night: Dr.Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Lost in Space; July 16, Flame Night: Flame nails, flame line art, melted crayon art; July 30, Banned!: Books, movies and music that created a controversy; Aug. 6, Scavenger Hunt: Participants will be sent places they never knew existed; Aug. 13, Sparked!: Teens that dared and changed the world; Aug. 20, Zombie/Dystopian Night: Zombie make-up available.
