1934 – 2014

AUBURN — Lenora M. Rideout, 79, of Waldo Street in Rumford, passed away on Sunday, June 22, at the Hospice House, following a long illness.

She was born in Mexico — over the Mexico Fire Station — on Oct. 8, 1934, a daughter of Yvonne (Auger) and Ernest L. Storer Sr. Lenora was employed as a custodian at Diamond National for several years and also cleaned lawyers’ offices for 15 years. She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.

Lenora enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, playing cards and ice skating.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Chester L. Rideout, of Rumford; four children, David Daniel of Portland, Richard Daniel and wife, Heidi, of Gardner, Ricky Daniel of Freeport and Donna Cooper of Utah; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Chester Rideout Jr.; two sisters, Anita Arsenault and Dorothy Cote; two brothers, Ernest Storer Jr. and Arthur Storer; and brother-in-law, Roland Cote.
