HARRISON — A trip to Boothbay Harbor/Cabbage Island is being sponsored by Harrison Parks and Rec.
The trip will take place on Monday, Aug. 11. The cost of $80 includes coach bus, boat and meal. The cost for Harrison residents is $73.
A $30 nonrefundable (after Aug. 1) deposit is due at sign up and the balance is due Friday, Aug. 4. Sign up early as seating is limited.

Travelers will leave the Harrison Town Office parking lot at 8 a.m. aboard Custom Coach & Limo. There will be time to enjoy the shops, galleries and specialty stores before the noon boarding of the Bennie Alice for a scenic tour of the harbor.
At 12:30 p.m., the Boothbay Harbor & Lighthouse Tour on the Bennie Alice will begin. Guests will arrive at 1:30 p.m. on Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay for an authentic Downeast Clambake of New England fish chowder, two lobsters, steamed clams, corn on the cob, onion, new Maine potatoes and Cabbage Island’s famous blueberry cake with hot coffee or iced tea. Chicken is available upon request.
The bus will arrive in Harrison around 7 to 7:30 p.m.
