Jay Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere, left, and acting police Chief Richard Caton IV mark a streetlight on Belanger Road in Jay on Wednesday that is proposed for removal. About 130 streetlights are being marked for removal to save the town money. There are forms at the Town Office for people to fill out if they are concerned about a light’s removal. People with concerns are asked to attend the Street Light Committee’s meeting at 6 p.m. June 26 at the Town Office.
