FARMINGTON — Police responded to a report of downtown vandalism Sunday morning after bricks were dropped from a store roof.
Five broken bricks were found on the sidewalk at 155 Main St. in front of Twice Sold Tales, Farmington police secretary Rachel Heseltine read from officer Ryan Wagner’s report.
The caller believed people had found access to the store roof and had thrown the bricks off the roof, she said. People going onto the roofs of businesses is an ongoing problem downtown, she said.
Wagner found no damage was done to the store when he responded to the 7:40 a.m. call, she said.
Members of Farmington Fire and Rescue were called to clear the debris from the sidewalk, she said.
