AUBURN — The Second Annual Community Day will be held out of doors at the Danville Union Church, 1065 Old Danville Road, on Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On sale will be crafts, plants, books and baked goods. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available.

Entries for the whoopie pie contest must be there by 10 a.m., as judging will done at that time. These must be homemade, three on a plate, covered by plastic wrap. The person’s name and phone number must be legibly written on the bottom of the plate, and a list of all ingredients included. Prizes will be awarded.

There will be children’s games and contests from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At 1 p.m. there will be a blueberry pie eating contest. This will be limited in number to the first 10 people who sign up with a $2 donation. Prizes will be awarded.

Ample parking is available at the Danville Junction Grange, and a shuttle service will be provided to the church.

Half of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Auburn PAL Center.
