DURHAM — Residents in Regional School Unit 5, Durham, Freeport and Pownal, will vote on a proposed $27.33 million school budget for 2014–2015 on Tuesday.
The budget, up from last year’s $25.93 million figure, was adopted by the RSU 5 Board of Directors at the annual budget meeting on May 28, but it needs voter ratification.
The polls in Durham will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Durham Community School. Voting in Freeport and Pownal will take place at Freeport High School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and at Mallett Hall in Pownal from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m..
