Philip E. Thibodeau
RUMFORD—A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Philip E. Thibodeau was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, at Parish of the Holy Savior.
The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Precious Lord Take My Hand,” “J’irai la voir un jour” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by his brother, Brad Thibodeau, and the New Testament was proclaimed by his brother, Richard Thibodeau. Offertory gifts were presented by his sisters, Lou Ann Thibodeau, Debbie Peale and Mary Ann McCall. Personal reflections were shared by his son, Dave Thibodeau.
Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were his brothers, Brad, Dale, Michael and Richard Thibodeau. A reception followed at 49 Franklin. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
