SALEM TOWNSHIP — Residents of SAD 58 accepted a proposed $9 million budget Wednesday night at Mt. Abram High School.

The board of directors approved the proposed 2014-15 spending plan earlier this month. It is $18,062 more than this fiscal year.

The budget will go to voters at polling stations in Kingfield, Avon, Phillips and Strong for a validation referendum Tuesday, June 10, Superintendent Brenda Stevens said Thursday.

A PowerPoint presentation of the meeting will be posted on the school website at www.msad58.org for voters to review, she said.
