LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners of the American Contract Bridge League Charity game at the Lewiston Armory on May 27 were as follows: first, Sue Kaluzynski and Donna Bartlett; second, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn; third, Paul Sherman and Mike True; fourth, Patricia Quinn and Richard Balian; fifth, Jeanine Kivus and Fred Letourneau; first in B, Sue Kaluzynski and Donna Bartlett; second, Mary Trafton and Kathy Burden; first in C and first overall, Sue Kaluzynski and Donna Bartlett.

Reading help for vision problems
LEWISTON — Reading for ALL will be the focus on Thursday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m., at Callahan Hall, Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St.

Vision rehabilitation professionals from The Iris Network in Portland and the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired are teaming up with the Lewiston Public Library to bring a day of exploration. If you love reading and are finding it difficult because of vision problems, come explore, learn about and try different devices and techniques which may help you to continue or resume reading.
Sabattus Seniors meet June 5
SABATTUS — Sabattus Seniors will be enjoying their June meal at the Super Buffet at 40 East Ave., Lewiston, on Thursday, June 5. Doors open at 11. There is no need to call Pauline to register; just show up.
Afterwards members will return to the hall for a 1 p.m. meeting followed by bingo. There will be no meeting in July; watch for information for the August picnic.

Bean, spaghetti supper in Pownal
POWNAL — The North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road, will hold a public baked bean and spaghetti supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 7.
On the menu are three kinds of beans, spaghetti with meat sauce, potato salad, coleslaw, biscuits and brown bread, pickled beets and assorted homemade pies. Tickets are adults $7, children 4-12 years $3, and 3 years and under free. Handicap accessible.
