FARMINGTON — The RSU board has received five applications for the combined position of Mt. Blue High School principal and Mt. Blue Campus coordinator.

The deadline for applications is May 30, Director Iris Silverstein of Farmington said Tuesday.

“We already have five good responses,” Superintendent Tom Ward said.

Mt. Blue Principal Monique Poulin submitted her resignation effective June 30. She has taken the principalship at Skowhegan Area High School.

Silverstein, a member of the board’s Administrator Evaluation Committee, said the applications will be screened and interviews conducted.

The committee also will meet with teachers and staff at the high school to see what qualities they would like to see in a principal and campus coordinator, she said.

They will also ask similar questions of the school board.

The Mt. Blue Campus encompasses the high school and Foster Career and Technical Education Center, Franklin County Adult Education and the Central Maine Community College Outreach Office.
