Adam Dow, left, president of the L-A Rotary Club, presents Peter Kowalski, CEO of John F. Murphy Homes, the second annual Ethics in Business Award. The presentation was made at the annual awards night of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club at the Ramada Inn on May 14. Other nominees for the award included Community Credit Union and Rinck Advertising. The Ethics in Business Award was developed by the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club working collaboratively with Kaplan University in 2012. The purpose of the award is to highlight the organizations in Lewiston-Auburn whose business models reflect a high ethical standard that mirrors the Four Way Test which is the backbone of Rotary Clubs throughout the world. The club will seek nominations of businesses starting in January for the 2015 award. The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club meets from noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday at the Ramada Inn.
