STONEHAM — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Hannah F. Richardson Tent #19 of Stoneham held their monthly meeting on April 30 at the home of Sylvia Grover.

Eight members were present.

Mystery prize went to the hostess, Sylvia Grover.

Plans were made to attend church in Stoneham on Sunday, May 18, for their annual memorial service.

Following the church service, there will be a service at the grave of Civil War veteran Albion Stearns in Hillside Cemetery.

The daughters will be putting out American flags for veterans at the cemetery shortly.

The May meeting will tentatively be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, in the community room.
