WYMAN TOWNSHIP — Stephen and Marcia White of Wyman Township are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sadie Lynn White, to Lee Franklin Spivak, son of Dr. Howard Spivak and Janet Schwartz of Brookline, Mass.

The future bride is a 2005 graduate of Mt. Abram Regional High School in Salem Township and the future bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Brookline High School in Brookline, Mass. Both are graduates of Bates College, where Miss White earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and history and Mr. Spivak earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Chinese. He also went on to earn a master’s degree in international environmental policy and Chinese from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, Calif.

The couple currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif., where Miss White works as a junior producer for VIMBY, LLC and Mr. Spivak works as a sustainability consultant for Waste Management, Inc.

The couple is planning an August 2014 wedding.
