WILTON — The second Wilton Economic Forum, hosted by the town and the Greater Franklin Development Corp., will focus on business property owners with building or office space to lease or sell.
A breakfast session is planned from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Wilton.
This second in the series titled Wilton’s Future … Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Energy and Technology will feature Mike Lyne from JHR Development.
Lyne will provide information to building owners on how to prep their buildings to attract potential tenants, buyers or investors. He will also offer ideas for low-cost improvements and where to invest to get the largest return on the investment.
Lyne represents JHR Development, a real estate development firm with offices in Brunswick and Marblehead, Mass. Some of its projects have included developing an inn and mixed use commercial spaces around the new Brunswick Station, retrofitting the former Barber Foods industrial building, and redeveloping space at the former Navy Commissary in Brunswick into the new Wicked Joe Coffee headquarters. The company has vast experience in making necessary improvements to old properties and finding new and innovative end-users.
Wilton business property owners have first priority for attendance at this forum, with Franklin County business property owners welcome as space allows.
Contact Alison Hagerstrom at Greater Franklin Development Corp at 778-5887 or by email at ahagerstrom@greaterfranklin.com by Monday, May 5, to reserve a seat.
