LEWISTON — Faye A. Walker, 74, of Poland Spring passed away peacefully with family by her side Thursday, April 24.
Faye graduated from Edward Little High School in 1958 and was crowned Carnival Queen. Faye worked for WMTW-TV, Channel 8, for many years as an executive assistant, retiring early to be able to spend time with her five grandchildren, whom she helped raise to make them the bright, young adults they are today.
Faye spent the best years of her life caring for the ones she loved. She always had an ear for listening and a shoulder to cry on. She was loved and admired by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Surviving her are her son, Rick Walker of Poland; her daughter, Jamie Trafford of New Gloucester; five grandchildren, Ricky, Cody and Kelsea Walker, and Kourtney and Adam Trafford; two sisters, Dorothy Austin and Elaine Morrison; two brothers, Ron Allen and Ron Gagnon; and, of course, all others she took under her wing.
Faye and her husband, Bobby, are now resting peacefully “upta camp,” watching sunsets and fishing.
Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.chandlerfunerals.com.
