SKOWHEGAN (AP) — Skowhegan police say they expect to file charges against the suspects in the theft of four guns from an apartment earlier this month

Chief Ted Blais said two handguns, a shotgun and a rifle were stolen during the April 17 burglary.

The gun owner’s girlfriend reported the thefts.

Blais told the Morning Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1lb2KW6 ) that the investigation was helped by a witness who spotted something suspicious. He says as a result, all four weapons have been recovered.

He said at least one of the suspects appears to be a juvenile.

He said because the burglary involved the theft of guns, charges are likely to be more serious.
