LIVERMORE — Applications are available for artists, crafters and historical exhibitors for the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center’s Strawberry Festival to be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28.

The Norlands welcomes crafters, artists, photographers, painters, potters, jewelers and more to exhibit, demonstrate and/or sell their original artwork. All items must be handmade, not mass produced, store bought, re-sale or imported items.

The Norlands also seeks qualified and experienced artisans, reenactors and scholars wishing to demonstrate a traditional craft using 19th-century materials or methods such as woodworking, fiber arts or blacksmithing. Civil War sutlers who sell period wares and authors of relevant books are also welcome.

Individuals, historical societies and museums are also welcome to exhibit and/or demonstrate antiques, collections or educational materials, if the collection is relevant to the experiences of people who lived in the 1800s.

All applications are subject to approval. All vendors and exhibitors will be recognized in a final press release about the event and on the event program.

Applications will be accepted through May 23. A prepaid vendor fee of $25 is required if selling items; $15 if not selling items. The vendor is expected to supply his/her own tent, tables and chairs. There is no electricity available. If your application is not approved, the fee will be returned.

Visit www.norlands.org to download the application form and guidelines or call 207-897-4366 or email norlands@norlands.org for more information.
