FARMINGTON — Two local women received minor injuries in a rear-end collision on Farmington Falls Road on Monday afternoon.
Brenda Hatch, 50, of Farmington complained of neck pain and was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by a NorthStar ambulance, Farmington police officer Darin Gilbert said.
Janet Washburn, 78, of Farmington had arm pain was taken to the hospital by her daughter, he said.
Alan Hatch, 57, of Farmington stopped his 1998 Chevrolet Blazer to turn left into his driveway at 836 Farmington Falls Road at 1:47 p.m. when it was hit from behind by Washburn’s 1991 Volvo, the officer said.
Hatch’s wife, Brenda, was hurt but he and his son, Ira, 17, were not. Washburn said her three dogs in the car were not hurt.
Members of Farmington Fire and Rescue helped at the scene. Washburn’s vehicle was towed by Collins Wrecker.
No tickets were issued to the drivers, Gilbert said.
