The Maine Candlepin Bowling Association held its senior finals recently at the Saco Valley Sports Center in Fryeburg. Placing first for the ladies was Ginger Adell, above, from the 1,710 Sports Center in Augusta with a total pin fall with handicap added 753. Rounding lasdies finals are: Bernadine Dubois, Saco Valley Sports Center, 740; Cecile Therrien, Vacationland Bowling Center. Saco, 730.Irene Kaherl 1,7,10 Sports Center, 717; Jean Tilton, Newport Entertainment Center, Newport; 715. In the men’s division, Dennis Ellingwood, above, Bangor-Brewer Lanes, Brewer, placed first at 733. Rounding out the men’s division are: Don Saucier,Vacationland Bowling Center, 724; Denis Drobinski, Big 20 Bowling Center, Scarborough, 714; Dave Glover, Hobbs Lucky Lanes, South Paris, 713; Rick Schencks, Bangor –Brewer Lanes, 712. To qualify, bowlers had to compete in at least four of the five scheduled events throughout the season. The top 12 with total pin fall made up the field for this five-string event.
